A pro-MAGA TikToker known for posting screeds advocating for the deportation of criminals from the United States has become the subject of much discussion on more liberal corners of the internet as of late.
Joseph Anthony Redden, a Florida man who posts under the name The Older Millennial (@TheOlderMillennial), was caught for allegedly resisting arrest for an outstanding warrant yesterday, much to the glee of his haters on TikTok.

The political commentator has made a name for himself promoting his political ideologies since he first began posting in 2022, and the enemies he made along the way have been doggedly tracking his run-ins with the law for months.

Though his account has been banned multiple times, he's seemingly managed to rebuild his following with each return.
As of June 2025, Redden has amassed over 420,000 followers and 9 million likes across his uploads. His most viewed video, posted on May 11th, 2025, defends the U.S. military's actions in Iran and racked up 5.9 million views and 700,000 likes. In a June 12th video with 300,000 views, he doubled down on deporting immigrants with civil and criminal violations.

Joseph Redden's critics accused him of hypocrisy for calling for the deportation of immigrants with minor criminal and civil violations despite purportedly having a criminal record himself.
The allegations around Redden's own legal history began circulating on June 14th, 2025, when TikToker @dombatt702 posted a video exposing court records they claimed were linked to Redden's name.
The clip, which gained over 200,000 plays in two weeks, cited alleged charges such as "failure to appear," a second DUI conviction, probation violations and contempt of court. That same day, TikToker @bunny.b.phunny posted a video highlighting Redden's criminal history with the hashtag "#yougotafelony," gathering over 800,000 plays and 36,000 likes in two weeks.
Both creators labeled Redden a hypocrite and accused him of promoting rhetoric about "law and order" that didn't quite align with his own purported legal troubles.

How Did People Find Out The Older Millennial Was Arrested?
Joseph Redden's arrest on June 26th, 2025, quickly became a trending topic across TikTok and X / Twitter.
According to a tweet by @chrisdmowrey, Redden was taken into custody following a TikTok Live, allegedly for violating parole tied to a DUI charge and resisting arrest. The tweet gained over 67,000 views in under 24 hours.

That same day, TikToker @bunny.b.phunny returned with two more videos: one sharing Redden's supposed mugshot that gathered over 80,000 plays in a day, and another reading out an arrest report that claimed he was tasered while resisting arrest.
