It's the X Challenge at Dave and Buster's refers to a series of mock advertisements announcing challenges hosted at the restaurant-arcade chain Dave and Buster's, roughly following the phrasal template "It's the X challenge! This weekend at Dave and Buster's…" The original version of the meme was "It's the Nigga Booty Eating Challenge." Other popular iterations include "It's the ball grundle juggling challenge," "It's the p-hole stuffer challenge" and "It's the car crash ejection challenge." The meme started on TikTok in mid-2025, when TikToker CursedBiden (@cursedbiden) began posting the seemingly AI-generated audios, which were used by other creators en masse in June 2025. Some lip-dubbed the sounds. Another viral use was showing Mr. Krabs from SpongeBob SquarePants announcing the Dave and Buster's challenges in commercials.

On May 30th, 2025, TikToker^[1] @cursedbiden posted a video showing a seemingly AI-generated image of the SpongeBob character Patrick Star and a text caption reading, "You work a 16-hour shift, get in your car and hear this s*** from your local radio station." The audio included a seemingly AI-generated voice saying, "It's the nigga booty eating challenge! This weekend it's all you can eat nigga booty at Dave and Buster's." Over one month, the video gained roughly 303,300 likes (shown below).

The abovementioned video's TikTok sound^[7] gained viral use in the following weeks. For instance, on May 31st, 2025, TikToker^[2] @not.ma1n3 used the audio for a photo, showing a Mourinho Disgust meme with the caption, "The shi you hear on Spotify because you don't have premium 💔." The post gained over 197,800 likes in a month.

TikToker @cursedbiden posted more iterations of the meme soon after the original, announcing different challenges at Dave and Buster's. For instance, on May 30th, @cursedbiden posted a TikTok^[3] with an audio about a "ball grundle juggling challenge," gaining over 69,000 likes in a month (shown below).

On June 1st, 2025, Instagram ^[8] user @mfpharaoh reposted the original "Nigga Booty Eating Challenge" video, gaining over 16,100 likes in three weeks.

On June 4th, Instagram^[9] user @4souljasonlyy used the audio of @mfpharaoh's repost, showing a dog staring with a caption about a friend who blasts TikTok videos in his mic in a PlayStation party, gaining over 15,200 likes in three weeks (shown below).

On June 4th, 2025, TikToker^[4] @youfapvideos used the audio from the "Ball Grundle Juggling Challenge" video, showing a mock Dave and Buster's commercial advertising the challenge. Over three weeks, the video received roughly 106,300 likes (shown below).

On June 16th, TikToker^[5] @jaime_justice posted an iteration using the "Ball Grundle Juggling Challenge" audio, showing Mr. Krabs giving a commercial for the challenge, sourced from the season 3 SpongeBob episode "As Seen on TV."^[6] Over nine days, the video received over 35,400 likes (shown below).

By June 25th, 2025, the original "Nigga Booty Eating Challenge" TikTok sound^[7] had amassed over 42,500 posts.
